WORD PORTRAIT | Typography* (*sort of)

Conveying a message, visually.

An example of the technique of creating a ‘WORD PORTRAIT’ illustration.

This example used the IARNG Military Service bio of (CSM) Larry W Steele as the ‘words’, with each letter filled in with the varying colors/tones of a (referential) photograph- underlayment, to create the ‘WORD PORTRAIT’ ILLUSION of his likeness.

The words are there, but the (real) message is expressed visually.
